Strange encounters initially existed as a forum where people could share their strange experiences, encounters with the unknown, and discuss sightings of UFOs, ghosts, and mysterious creatures like Bigfoot, Sasquatch, Yeti, Yowee, Skunk Apes, the Lock Ness Monster and other lake creatures, Mothman (a Giant Owl?), and more.
While the forum still exists, Strange Encounters has grown to include current news headlines ranging from UFO news to updates regarding ghosts and hauntings, folklore, urban legends, ancient mysteries, biblical archeology, moon anomalies, as well as articles and feature stories on the unknown, interviews with todays leading cryptozoologists and authors on the unexplained, and there is more to come.
The goal at Strange Encounters is to provide a different point of view on unexplained creatures, mysterious occurances, UFO sightings, ghosts, phychic abilities, and the paranormal in general, supernatural or otherwise.
Aside from articles and features you will also find some book reviews and recommended reading. This will certainly help if you are interested in learning more about the paranormal but would rather not buy every book written on the varied topics thereof.
