A Ghost in a Bottle - Only $20

"Supernatural or Novelty?" So reads the tag-line for a company in St. Augustine, Florida, in the business of bottling ghosts. For $20 you can own a bottled ghost of your own, trapped by ghost hunters during their jaunts into reported haunted houses, hotels, ships or cemeteries.

No maintenance required, but there are warnings, should you decide to open or break your bottle thereby freeing the alleged entity within. You may hear a voice out of nowhere, muffled moans and groans, doors opening or closing slowly. You may get the feeling of being followed around your home, or notice lights coming on or going off by themselves, and bed covers pulled off, as well as other ghostly activity.

How they trap the ghosts remains a mystery. Maybe they have something similar to the Ghostbusters' ghost vacuum. Rest assured, the bottles are sealed with wax after the spirits are contained, so as long as you keep the lid on you should be okay.

One might wonder how ghosts, typically known for their ability to pass through solid objects, would stand for being sealed up in bottles. If you decide to buy one you might want to consider purchasing a thermal imaging system, or EMF meter, just to keep tabs on your ghost should it decide to stray from its bottle.
