The 2 minute, 49 second videotape depicting a large, dark figure walking along the bank of the Nelson River, near Norway House, Manitoba, Canada, has been sold to an unnamed U.S. television show.
Bobby Clarke, a ferry operator from Norway House, saw a large figure on the opposite side of the Nelson River early on the morning of April 16, while at work. He picked up his video camera, which he claims to keep with him anywhere he goes, and began filming the creature as it moved along the opposite river edge. According to reports the creature was approximately 800 feet away from Clarke.
It has not been revealed whether the video image has been improved. Clarke and his wife were apparently seeking to have the video image enhanced. We'll certainly find out soon enough once the television show who has purchased the video decides to air it.
No dollar amount was mentioned in the report of this purchase.
Could this video offer more solid evidence of the existence of Bigfoot creatures in North America? It remains to be seen. It may well offer less evidence than the famous Patterson film of an alleged Sasquatch seen while walking along a dry riverbed in Bluff Creek, California.
The Patterson film has been studied in great detail by many, including Marlon Davis, who has presented enhanced and enlarged images and frame sequences from the Patterson footage. Many of these enhancements seem to depict a real unknown creature and not a man in a suit, as has often been suggested.
More recent enhancements of specific frames, by Davis, show toe flexions that further support the possibility that this is a real animal, that Sasquatch exist.
Maybe the Manitoba video will help in the quest for the truth. Keep your eyes tuned to the TV, and stop by Strange Encounters for the latest information. Visit the Strange Encounters forum to discuss the video and other Bigfoot topics.
